Place Your First Order
Orders in WareSquared track sales from creation through fulfillment and delivery.
Step 1: Start a New Order
Click Orders in the navigation, then click + New Order.
Step 2: Select a Customer
Choose an existing customer from the dropdown, or leave blank for a walk-in sale.
Step 3: Add Line Items
- Search for products by name or SKU
- Select the product
- Enter the quantity
- The price auto-fills from your price tiers
- Repeat for additional items
Step 4: Review & Submit
Review the order summary including:
- Line items and quantities
- Subtotal, tax, and total
- Shipping address (if applicable)
Click Create Order to save it as a Draft, or Confirm Order to move it directly to confirmed status.
Order Workflow
Orders flow through these statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Order created but not yet confirmed |
| Confirmed | Order is confirmed and ready for fulfillment |
| Processing | Pick list created, items being picked |
| Shipped | Order has been shipped to customer |
| Delivered | Customer has received the order |
| Cancelled | Order was cancelled |
