Managing Pallets in Your Warehouse
Pallets are containers for grouping inventory items at a specific location, each with its own tracking number for efficient warehouse operations.
Pallet Statuses
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Active | Pallet is in use at a location |
| In Transit | Being moved between locations or warehouses |
| Staging | Prepared for shipment or transfer |
| Picked | Items have been picked from this pallet |
| Empty | No inventory items remain |
| Damaged | Pallet is flagged for inspection or disposal |
Creating a Pallet
- Go to Warehouse → Pallets
- Click + New Pallet
- Select the Warehouse and Location
- Enter a pallet number (or let the system auto-generate one)
- Optionally set dimensions (length, width, height) and max weight
- Click Create
Moving Pallets
Use the Move action to relocate a pallet and all its inventory to a different location. This automatically creates stock movement records for every item on the pallet.
Viewing Pallet Contents
The pallet detail page shows all inventory items including product name, lot number, quantity, and location. Use this for quick physical verification during receiving or shipping.
Note: Pallet management is an Advanced Mode feature. Enable it in Settings → Interface Mode.
