Receiving Shipments on Mobile
Use your phone to receive incoming inventory directly at the loading dock.
Workflow
- Open the mobile app → WMS Hub → Receiving
- Start a new receiving session
- For each item in the shipment:
- Scan the barcode to identify the product
- Enter quantity received
- Select location where items will be stored (scan the location barcode)
- Enter lot number if lot tracking is enabled
- Tap Complete when all items are received

Handling Discrepancies
If the shipment doesn't match what was expected:
- Enter the actual quantity received (not the expected quantity)
- Note any damages or shortages
- The system records the discrepancy for follow-up with the supplier
Tip: Pair mobile receiving with incoming shipment tracking. When you have a shipment record, the app can pre-populate expected items, making receiving even faster.
