Efficient communication is the heartbeat of any business operation. Our new Communication Hub centralizes messaging and notifications to prevent information silos.
Introducing Communication Hub: Keep Every Conversation in One Place
Effective communication between buyers, sellers, and internal teams is critical for smooth operations. As of February 11, 2026, our Communication Hub brings all your messaging and system notifications together. No more hunting through separate email threads or missed alerts—everything you need is in your integrated inbox.
What This Feature Does
The Communication Hub is split into messaging and notifications. Messaging provides buyer-to-seller conversation threads that can be initiated from marketplace profiles or quote requests. The system includes a centralized inbox at /conversations for managing these inquiries. Notifications provide navbar alerts and a dedicated inbox at /notifications for urgent system events and order actions, with unread count badges to ensure you're always up to date.
"Never miss a message. Our integrated communication hub keeps buyer conversations, supplier inquiries, and system alerts all in one place."
Why It Matters
Centralizing communication reduces the risk of missed opportunities or delayed responses. When buyer inquiries, quote discussions, and system alerts are all in the same place as your product and order data, you can respond with full context and greater speed. This integration fosters stronger relationships and a more responsive business environment.
Who Can Use This Feature
The Communication Hub is available to all authenticated users across all plan levels. The inbox icons and notification badges are integrated directly into the top navigation bar for easy access from anywhere in the platform.
How It Works
When someone starts a conversation or a system event occurs, you'll see an alert in your navigation bar. Clicking the message icon takes you to your inbox where you can reply to threads. Clicking the notification icon opens your alerts, which you can mark as read once you've reviewed them. The entire experience is real-time and context-aware.
